RHEA and ZIJkant vzw invite you to the launch event of ‘City Confessions’, an educational board-game about sexual transgression in (semi-)public spaces.
The ‘City Confessions’ board-game raises awareness about transgressive behaviour, opens the conversation around consent and teaches bystanders to intervene. The board-game was developed in collaboration with young people and pilot tested across the country. Our evaluation showed that 76% of players reported an improvement in motivation and confidence to respond as bystander and 84% of players gained the knowledge to act as responsible bystanders.
With the support of equal.brussels, we are now pleased to share the final board-game with you. On 15 May, ZIJkant vzw and RHEA (VUB), together with game developer De Aanstokerij, will present the game to Belgian organisations working against sexual transgression in the presence of Brussels' Secretary of State for Equal Opportunities, Ms Nawal Ben Hamou.
This will be followed by a free train-the-trainer session to demonstrate how to use the game as a bystander training tool. During the event, the game can be exclusively purchased at a discounted price of €10 (original price is €20).
