Dr. Marie Guerry

Marie-Anne Guerry, is full professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She obtained her PhD in Sciences in 1992. Currently, she is teaching mathematics at the Faculty of Social Sciences & Solvay Business School of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Her research activities are situated in the domain of Manpower Planning. This research covers on the one hand Markov models and their applications in quantitative Human Resources Management and on the other hand empirical research activities with regard to career progress and career characteristics as promotor of, among others, the research project “Work-family balance and gender career gaps in Belgium”, supported by the Belgian Science Policy, and the Horizon2020 project “Transparent and resilient gender equality through integrated monitoring planning and implementation”.
