Dr. Michael Rosenfeld
Biography

In December 2023, Michael was a guest editor for Sextant on Intellectuel•les queer. Collaborations (1880-1920). He has published articles on French novelist Émile Zola, on queer Belgian author Georges Eekhoud, as well as original archival material, such as a revealing Italian queer autobiography from 1889/1896. Previously published in censored versions only, he published the first complete edition based on the manuscript in 2017, which was recently translated to English and published by Columbia University Press in July 2022.
