Colloquium: Prisons et Spiritualité en Belgique
What conditions govern the exercise of religion in Belgian prisons and by whom are they defined?
This is the main question of the upcoming colloquium on prisons and spirituality in Belgium at UCLouvain Saint-Louis - Bruxelles. RHEA-member Elias Woodbridge will present the findings from his research "Islam in Belgian Prisons", in which he has mapped the role of Islam for men in Belgian prisons, how Islam is experienced by them and how it shapes their identity, through Muslim masculinity frameworks.
The colloquium will mostly be in French, but Elias Woodbridge will present in English
