RHEA has a large membership base with researchers from different faculties and departments of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. RHEA is led by director prof. Gily Coene and co-director prof. Karen Celis.
RHEA Structure
RHEA has a core team which is responsible for planning and follow-up of the overal goals, strategies and activities. The core team is composed of the directors, coordinator and a small group of RHEA-researchers and members.
RHEA members are VUB researchers from a variety of academic disciplines working on issues related to gender, diversity and intersectionality. RHEA offers these researchers a platform for exchange and cooperation, spreads relevant information through an internal mailing-list and (co-)organizes activities for both specialized and broader audiences.
RHEA membership is open for researchers/lecturers connected to VUB who work in the field of gender & diversity, from a variety of academic disciplines; are strongly involved with RHEA by attending activities; presenting their work; providing input for research projects and activities… Below you can find more information about how to become a member.
Previous members of RHEA, who are still affiliated to the university, can become an affiliated member of RHEA. As an affiliated member of RHEA, we expect you to be critically involved, you will receive newsletters and invitations to RHEA events.
